Our Girl is Growing

Well I can't believe it has already been 3 months since I last wrote about Annabelle.  It truly seems just like yesterday I was writing the first blog about how she is growing on her meds. 

So today was her 6 month check up. Now before I give the results.  Matt and I have noticed how much taller she looks just in the last 2 months.  It is so amazing that even though she does not produce the hormone to grow on her own.  God has provided a way and she is getting the treatment she needs.  Now remember this isn't just a short term fix.  Annabelle will have to take these shots until she reaches puberty. Crazy right.

Well she has come a long way since starting these shots.  She used to scream and cry and beg us not to do them.  As of today Praise the Lord she stands there and takes it.  She has found her sweet spot so to say.  She likes it in the tush.  LOL  Crazy girl that is where she has the most fat anyway. :)

As her 4th birthday is fast approaching us I still can't believe the personality she was blessed with.  She is in my eyes super brave to endure this everyday.

So again today was her 6 month follow and her stats are at the age of 3 years and 11 months and 19 days she comes in weighing 26 lbs.  Her height is 36 almost 37 inches.  She is now in the 5-10 percentile.  Oh my she is now on the growth chart she is no longer hanging below it.  She is wearing 3T clothes some 4T and is wearing a size 7 shoe.  I never thought her feet would grow.  WOO HOO Way to Go Annabelle

So her Dr. will see us again in another 3 months.  If I haven't said it lately you have NO IDEA how thankful I am the we are blessed to have the BEST endocrinoloist on the east coast here in Tallahassee.  Praise God!
