Well I may be one on a hand full of moms that is so looking forward to Christmas break.
I feel at times I am moving in a 400 hundred different directions all at one time. I really need life to slow down and a many days for time to just freeze for me.
I am so looking forward to the girls being out of school for 2 weeks. We have nothing major planned except celebrating Christmas. Peace is what I feel is coming. Between school, work, studying, church and all the day to day life stuff. All I am wanting for Christmas is the break. Plus I can't wait to get my kids all back on a slow schedule and get a grip on some things I feel are getting out of hand. Just to be around the house with no where to be. Sounds so amazing right now.
Today that day has begun for me my girls got out of school at 11:45am so we are officially on BREAK. WOO HOO. So I am planning on having a pj day, hot chocolate and watch Polar Express. Of course now we will have to wait for it to get cold again. Gotta Love some Florida weather. :)
To to all my Friends and Family I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Blessings
I have for a week now been thinking on how to write a blog on blessings. Wow where to even begin is always my question. So today I am just going to begin. LOL
There are days that the blessings I receive and have received from God are overwhelming and at times overwhelming is a understatement. First lets face it just waking up each morning and breathing is a blessing. The most overwhelming blessing is the undeserving love and mercy of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for me. I am sure this is more highlighted at this time of the year with us celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Anyway this is where I was going with this whole blessing writing thing. The blessing of medications. Earlier this year we learned our youngest daughter has a growth hormone deficiency which is a form of dwarfism. Her type is where she will always be proportionate. So many test had to be done and one was to see if she would respond to growth hormone shot treatments. Praise God she responded well to the meds. Next step was to see if insurance would even cover this expense. It is highly expensive for her shots. Blessing to us again she was approved.
So in September of this year she started her shots. She receives them 6 days a week with a 1 day break. I would love to say that it was all smooth sailing, but that would be a lie. She still has some bad days about receiving them, but so much calmer from the beginning. The only thing we have really noticed different besides growing is she sleeps more. If you think babies always sleep a lot when the have growth spurts. Again thankful she has not had any side effects from the treatments. This is not something that she will just grow out of or will change she will continue with treatments until she reaches puberty.
Well we just went today and had her first 3 month check-up since starting the meds. She has grown an inch. I know most would think really that is all, but to us that is huge. She is no longer wearing 18months pants and is now wearing 3T. WOO HOO She also gained a pound. :) Her stats today at the age of 3 years and 9 months are 25lbs and 35.5 inches tall. PRAISE GOD
We are so excited to see how God will use her and us in this journey.

Christmas Traditions
So I have been sitting here thinking of my Christmas traditions from when I was growing and which ones we have kept for our own family.
When I was younger my brother and I would get to open one present on Christmas Eve, but the gift had to be from each other. It was always exciting even though days or maybe weeks before we had taken a butter knife slide it under the tape careful enough not to rip the paper and slide the gift out and check out our present while our parents were at work. Now that was so much fun and then make sure we had great SURPRISE faces for Christmas morning. LOL
Another one was where we would go to my Grandma's house Christmas Eve and my dads whole side of the family was there and we would exchange gifts and have lots of appetizers and some great laughs. Lets just say with 9 cousins it was always a big mess afterwards.
The only thing I carried on from my childhood was going to Grandma's now we go to my moms house which is my kids Grandma and have Christmas Eve. It is a lot smaller and low key but I can tell you I love it so much more. We still have appetizers and great laughs. The one thing we have added is the reading of Jesus' birth and a Happy Birthday Jesus cake and explain what each part of the cake means.
So what are some of your favorite childhood traditions or not so favorite. Which ones have you continued or new ones you have incorporated into your family.

When I Grow Up
So when I was little I thought when I grew up I would be a nurse, crime scene investigator, or a hairdresser. Now I went to college well half a semester and dropped out and lost my scholarship. That is neither here nor there.
I did become a nurse. How you ask? Well I have 3 beautiful daughters and I am always having to fix boo-boos, diagnose sickness, and even now giving daily shots to one of my girls.
I also became a crime scene investigator go ahead I know the question but "how". Well on a daily basis a crime has been committed in my house and I the awesome investigator that I am has to figure out what happened, how it happened, and who did it.
I also became a hairdresser. On a daily even multiple times a day I am brushes, fixing, doing a up do or 2 and even cutting hair. That job also includes trimming and painting lots of fingers and toes.
Long story is sometimes we may think that we did not complete our childhood dreams. But look around and I am sure you will see that you are all those and more. God always has a bigger plan for us and sometimes it takes looking back to see them.

OK, so a few of my friends blog and of course I wanted to see what it is all about. Here is the thing I am not a very good writer or speller. Even worse than that I also seem to write things in weird rambles hint the name of my blog. If I write a letter I also look back and say I should have put that sentence up there and that one down here did I use proper grammar and punctuations. Does my writing even make sense to others. Anyway I sometimes just have funny thoughts or saying that I would like to jot down and remember or just give someone a great laugh.
